Naeem Charles began his coaching journey in 2016 with Park Slope United, now known as Brooklyn United. Shortly after, he paused his coaching career to pursue professional playing opportunities, competing with clubs such as the New York Cosmos and LA Force. During his off-seasons, Naeem remained active in player development, running clinics across Germany, Michigan, California, and the New York area. In the spring of 2023, he returned to coaching full-time, joining Harborfields Soccer Club in Long Island’s LIJSL. There, he currently leads boys’ teams at the U10 and U15 levels, as well as girls’ teams at U15 and U16. Naeem brings a unique blend of professional playing experience and youth development insight to the field. His approach emphasizes technical growth, game intelligence, and player confidence. He remains committed to making a positive impact in the soccer community and continuing to grow as a coach and mentor.
