Eligibility & Selection Criteria

ISX scholarships are designed to support players with clear financial need who demonstrate strong soccer potential and commitment. Awards are limited and vary based on available funds each year.

Primary factors we consider
 

• Demonstrated financial hardship

• Player ability and potential, as evidenced by coach evaluations, tryout performance, and past development

• Commitment to the team’s training, travel, and conduct standards

Additional program considerations

• Roster balance and positional needs at specific age groups

• Availability of alternative funding or community support already committed to the player
   

Our aim is to remove financial barriers for deserving players while ensuring each team can compete safely and effectively abroad. When roster needs are referenced, they are applied uniformly across age groups and never replace the central focus on financial need and player merit.
 

What scholarships may cover

• A portion of program tuition and/or travel package fees

• In limited cases, supplemental costs tied to competition requirements
   

What scholarships do not cover

• Uniforms and personal gear

• Optional upgrades, add-ons, or non-essential travel costs
   

Award expectations

• Families agree to maintain good financial standing on any remaining balance

• Player attendance, effort, and conduct remain consistently strong

• Family contributes reasonable volunteer support to ISX events or media needs (hours defined at award)
   

Timeline (2025–2026)

• Application opens: October 10, 2025

• Submission deadline: November 15, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET

• Decisions communicated: December 1, 2025

• Family acceptance of award due: December 8, 2025
