Jason Alvarez Named Head Coach of NY Empire FC ISX Boys 2013 Team for 2026 Donosti Cup

NY Empire FC is proud to announce Jason Alvarez as the Head Coach of our Boys 2013 team for the NY Empire International Soccer Experience (ISX). The team will travel to Spain in July 2026 to compete in the prestigious Donosti Cup, one of the top international youth soccer tournaments in the world.

Jason brings a wealth of experience and passion for youth development to the NY Empire coaching staff. A dedicated coach at Ultimate Soccer Training (UST), Jason works with players from 2010 through 2018 age groups, with a focus on technical development, tactical awareness, and fostering a love for the game. His coaching philosophy centers on building confident, skilled players through a foundation of strong fundamentals and a competitive, yet supportive, environment.

“I'm excited to join the NY Empire coaching staff and be part of a program that’s committed to giving young players a true international experience,” said Alvarez. “Playing against top teams from around the world is a special opportunity. I’m looking forward to preparing these boys to compete at a high level and represent NY Empire with pride.”

Jason is seeking technically sound, coachable players with a strong work ethic and a desire to grow, both on and off the field. “I’m looking for players who are confident on the ball, understand the importance of teamwork, and are ready to embrace a challenge,” he said. “The Donosti Cup is not just about winning—it’s about learning, bonding, and experiencing the game in a new way.”

With years of coaching at various youth levels, Jason has helped players elevate their game and prepare for higher-level competition. His addition to the NY Empire ISX program reinforces the club’s mission to provide elite-level training and international opportunities to top youth players across the region.

Tryouts for the NY Empire ISX Boys 2013 team will be held this September 2025.
