Michelle Barclay Named Head Coach of NY Empire FC ISX Girls 2011 Team Heading to Donosti Cup 2026

NY Empire FC is proud to announce Michelle Barclay as the Head Coach of the NY Empire ISX Girls 2011 team, set to represent the club at the prestigious Donosti Cup in San Sebastián, Spain in July 2026. This elite group of players will begin forming through tryouts held this September, as the team prepares for a world-class international soccer experience.

Michelle Barclay brings over 13 years of coaching experience to the role, having built a reputation for developing players both on and off the field. She currently serves as an Assistant Coach for the St. Joseph’s University Women’s Soccer Team, where she helps lead and mentor collegiate athletes competing at a high level.

In addition to her collegiate coaching, Michelle continues to impact youth soccer as the coach of a G2009 team at Atlantic United. Her deep connection to the game is also personal—Michelle is a former collegiate player and still plays competitively, bringing unmatched energy and perspective to her training sessions.

“I’m incredibly excited to join NY Empire FC and lead the Girls 2011 team on this incredible journey to the Donosti Cup,” said Barclay. “This is a special opportunity to bring together driven, talented players and help them grow through elite training and international competition.
