NY Empire FC is proud to announce Nick Bigilin as the Head Coach of the Boys 2011 NY Empire FC International Soccer Experience (ISX) team set to compete in the prestigious Donosti Cup in San Sebastián, Spain in July 2026. With tryouts scheduled for September, Coach Bigilin brings a wealth of collegiate coaching experience and a deep understanding of player development to this elite program.

Bigilin currently serves as an assistant coach for the LIU men’s soccer team and is also the Boys Director at Massapequa Soccer Club, where he leads coaching and development initiatives across multiple age groups. Prior to his current roles, he spent two successful seasons as an assistant coach at Molloy University, helping guide the team to an ECC Tournament title and NCAA appearance in 2021, and an undefeated conference season and ECC championship in 2022.

“I’m incredibly excited to join NY Empire FC and be a part of the ISX program heading to the Donosti Cup,” said Bigilin. “This is a special opportunity for young players to compete internationally, and I’m honored to lead such a driven and talented group.”

As for what he’s looking for in players at the upcoming tryouts, Bigilin added, “I’m searching for technically sound, intelligent players with a strong work ethic. I want kids who compete every session, support their teammates, and are excited to grow both on and off the field.”
Tryouts for the Boys 2011 ISX team will take place this September. Players interested in this unforgettable international experience are encouraged to register early.
